Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion Review & Give Away

I had the opportunity to try a new moisturizer for free thanks to the folks at Skin MD. The following are my honest opinions on Skin MD Natural shielding lotion after two weeks of trial.

I have medium to dry skin. In the winter it can be pretty dry with peeling spots around what most people call the "T zone" - nose and forehead. I use a moisturizer daily - and have every day without exception since I was 15 years old. I also wash my face daily with a face wash every night before bed without exception. It is so ingrained in me at this point I literally cannot go to bed at night without washing my face - not matter how tired I am.

I am terrible about remembering and making myself use lotion on the rest of my body, but I have taken really good care of my face! =)

I'm not particular in the brand that I use. I like something that is light and nongreasy. In the past I have tried a couple of different brands and when I find one I like I tend to stick with it a while. I've used Avon, St. Ives, and Aveeno and have had good luck with all of them. I've also tried some stinkers that left my face sticky, greasy, and even worse - burning, rashy, and irritated.

I've been using Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion for the past two weeks in the place of my regular face moisturizer and I have really been enjoying it. It is light, non greasy, and dries fast. It leaves my face feeling quenched.

However, it does fall in the same price range as some of the national brands as well as some of the Avon varieties I've used in the past. Skin MD does what it says it will do - and it seems to be lasting a pretty long time for me. So, overall the value doesn't seem that bad to me.
