New Year's Party - Are You Ready?

I have a confession to make... I'm a homebody. Yes, of course I do enjoy going out every now and again for a nice dinner, a movie, or for a marathon shopping spree (with my coupons in hand of course!). But, I really do enjoy a lazy day at home with my family. Don't get me wrong, it isn't that I don't enjoy being around other people - on the contrary! I love to host large groups of friends and family in my home. Nothing gets me more excited than the thought of hosting a party in my home. The "Martha Stewart" really comes out in me!

I love putting together a menu, deciding on a theme, and decorating for a baby shower, birthday party, wedding shower, or any other fun get-together! I really go all out - down to the decorations and the party favors. I love making other people happy and it makes me happy when they leave saying what a great time they had. Better yet, is when they tell you weeks down the road what a good time they had at my party- reminiscing all the good parts!

Of course, throwing a big shindig can be tiresome with the cleaning, cooking, and preparing for your guests to arrive. Doing things a little at a time (in advance) and preparing a menu that has things you can prepare in advance is a real energy and time saver! And, a great party can't happen without a little help from others. My husband enjoys having others over just like me, so he's always a big help and my mom is usually right there with me helping prepare some of the food (how lucky am I that she live close by so we can help each other!).

Well, the big party time of the year is just around the corner - New Year's Eve! Have you thought about what you'll do? Are you going out? Heading to someone else's party? Or, are you playing hostess this year?

Whatever it is, Frito-Lay wants to help one of you get the party started!
