Purex 3 in 1 sheets - Laundry - simplified.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Purex. All opinions are 100% mine.

Laundry... the saga continues.

At least once a week I am complaining at how often I am doing laundry and if you are a mom you probably feel the same way. It seems my poor old washer and dryer never get a break. I do about eight loads per week. This might seem like a lot to some of you - and a drop in the bucket to others.

We try to limit the washes of our clothes for wear and tear as well as energy costs by doing things like rewearing jeans two or three times, reusing bath towels (everyone has their own hook), and wearing pajamas more than once. Even so, I have extra laundry loads too with baby diapers, hubby's work clothes, and a messy soon to be one year old!

Normally I buy laundry detergent when I can find it at rock bottom prices with a coupon and then I stockpile! I also buy dryer sheets, stain remover, and a laundry brightener for whites and baby diapers. Recently I tried Purex 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets which eliminates the need to purchase several of the a fore mentioned products (detergent, dryer sheets + anti-static).

Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheets come in two sizes: 20 sheets + a dispenser or 24 sheets (refill pack) and are priced around $5.99 to $6.99 each. With coupons it really isn't much more than the other named brand detergents - plus you don't have the added cost of picking up dryer sheets. With a coupon these could be well within reach! And, if you haven't already signed up for a coupon you can get $1 off HERE! Bonus -If you live in an apartment or have to take your laundry to another location to wash and dry, this product is light and eliminates the need to lug a big bottle of detergent plus fabric softener.

Another plus: if your spouse has been getting away with not helping you with the laundry or faking an inablility to do laundry these fancy little sheets are fool-proof. You drop it in the wash with a full load of laundry and then when the washer is finished you pop it in the dryer along with your clothes and the heat-activated strip releases fabric softener and anti-static. It is so simple - and fast! No need to measure or pour. Laundry - simplified.

Here's something cool I wasn't aware of - each sheet is for a full load of clothes right? What if I have a small load of laundry and I don't really need a full sheet? Cut those sheets in half and viola! you can do two half-loads! How cool is that?!

Want to try it for yourself? Right now you can get a free sample of Purex 3 in 1 sheets!

I would totally not recommend these for a front-loader. The front rubber tube that seals the door on ours swallowed a few of these out of the two full packs that I tried. At that point you wonder whether it went underground before or after the soap was dispensed, do I need to wash the laundry again, should I use this thing for the dryer (after rinsing it and wringing it out a bit). We liked the product except for this little problem and won't be buying more unless we someday get a different washer style.

This is my complaint for these....I absolutely loved them up until this week.....We had to dis-assemble the washing machine this week because one of those sheets got sucked into the water pump....It took 30 minutes to get it out off the water pump! I will never use these things again....P.S. Dont cut them in half!! This is how ours got stuck in the water pump and really messed up the washing machine!!
