This is a really neat-o product that was a created by a dad! They are called Safety Caps and they are better than your typical outlet covers ... and I'm going to tell you why I think so.
First, they are wider than the standard outlet covers. They are the same width as a pacifier. They meet the same standards as the United States Pacifier Anti-Choking Regulations. They have two holes in the sides - just like pacifiers for added safety so that if the cover is imbeded in the soft tissue the holes will not be covered! Added safety - and they're the only outlet covers that meet these requirements!
Second, they are clear - so that they aren't noticeable in your outlets. Not only is this more "fashionable," but they are clear and less likely noticable by the child so that they aren't tempted to check them out.
