I'm BAAACK!!!
For those of you who thought I had fallen off the planet... we'll not quite that bad but almost! =)If you are just tuning in I was attacked by the Google Robots. They thought I was a spam blog - not sure why - maybe because of the traffic - who knows!?! Anyway a friend of mine took care of it - apparently he KNOWS someone at Google and I was back up in less than 24 hours. However, right after that school began...yes, we're in session! Yippee! So I have been scrambling trying to get ready for my new second grade class. Tonight was open house. In the midst of all this, yes there's more, it was my anniversary yesterday - 7 years - and we've announced that we are having a BABY! Yes, you heard that right...I'm expecting! So I have been throwing my toenails up! =)
In addition, we went on a quick vacation to Jekyll Island for our anniversary and because we got such a great deal we just couldn't pass it up - had to slide one more trip in before I really had to get back to work. So, without further ado... I am so sorry for the lack of blogging but with the hectic schedule and so many eventful days lately (we won't even talk about the stomach issues I've been having) it has just seemed impossible. BUT - I'm back and you can expect your regularly scheduled programming! =)
There are some new posts - just up tonight - right under this one. There are 4. So keep reading and expect to see more tomorrow... and the next day... and the next... well you get it. I'm not kidding... I'm really back this time. =)

Congrats! I KNEW you were pregnant! I don't even know you, but I knew. All those days of not feeling well and being tired for the last couple weeks ... I knew it was pregnancy related. Teachers like to plan their pregnancies around the school year!

Congrats Denise! From an old mom to a new one, enjoy every second that you can. It all goes by so quickly. I don't miss the diaper part but I miss the hugs, kisses and being there for all the "firsts". As a teacher, you'll appreciate that my fave memory with both of my children is the day they came home and read to me aloud for the first time. Now I am enjoying that with the grandsons!
