Freschetta FlatBread Review

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.
Freschetta has a new pizza in their line up: FlatBread.

When approached to try this pizza for free I was happy to give it whirl. My reasons:
  • Freschetta boasts "all natural" ingredients.
  • Freschetta claims "no chemical leaveners" in their pizza dough.
If you've been reading my posts for any amount of time you've probably heard that my family has seriously changed our eating and shopping habits. We're trying to eat more natural and whole foods. While "natural" is not a regulated term I was interested in seeing if I could taste a difference in this pizza. Would it taste fresher, more authentic, like homemade?

We'll we purchased the Roasted Garlic and Spinach FlatBread pizza and had it last Sunday. It was nice having a quick meal in less than 10 minutes after a hard days work in the yard and cleaning the house top to bottom! that's one "plus!"

I like the flavor of the creamy garlic sauce this pizza had instead of marinara or alfredo sauce. That was pretty different than any other frozen pizza I have had.

The spinach was good, like many varieties of frozen spinach that I buy for my family. The crust was good. If you like a VERY thin crust then you will love this pizza. I tend to like my pizza a little bit "breadier" - you know if I'm going to blow it all out on calories then might as well have some delicious carbs - LOL.

All in all, I am not a big fan of the frozen pizza - BUT - if I need a quick meal and don't have time to cook (or I'm pooped!) I'd pick up this variety over the competition.
