Are you a breakfast person? If not, you totally should be! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Did you know that people who eat breakfast are more likely to lose weight and keep it off. In fact, women who eat breakfast regularly tend to eat fewer calories overall during the day, according to Jeanie Davis at Web MD.
Breakfast doesn't have to be a big ordeal either. Are you in a rush to get out the door in the mornings? Have no fear, any breakfast is better than none. And, the next time you give your children cereal for breakfast, you can feel good about it! A group of researchers analyzed data from a government-funded study that followed more than 2,000 young girls from ages 9 to 19. They found that regular cereal eaters had fewer weight problems than infrequent cereal eaters.
Studies also demonstrate the benefits of eating breakfast. A 1998 study showed that children who eat breakfast tend to perform better at school. Compared to children who skip breakfast, children who eat breakfast score higher on tests, are less likely to miss class or be tardy, have fewer reported discipline problems, and make fewer trips to the office.
And, there's more good news! General Mills announced a commitment to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12 to single digit grams of sugar per serving. The company has already been reducing sugar in cereals while increasing key nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin D, and providing whole grain.

Well, I was disappointed not to know, before I printed this coupon and wasted ink that it is only for one of 4 super sugar sweetened cereals that no one in my family would eat.
