Tomorrow, (Friday, November 20th) is McHappy Day!

This is McDonald’s signature fundraising event for children and families in need around the world.

McHappy Day comes to life at McDonald’s restaurants through donations made by product sales, community events, benefit concerts and more. You can support McHappy Day by visiting your local participating McDonald’s restaurant and purchasing a paper “Give A Hand” for $1, with proceeds benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

That's not all - FRIDAY you can visit participating McDonald’s restaurants, and make a difference! $1 from the sale of select menu items will be donated to RMHC!

Not planning to make a trip into town? No problem. You can still help make a difference right from the comfort of your home! Here's how:

• Visit www.aboutmcdonalds.com/McHappyDay to download McHappy Day images to use as your profile or avatar photo on popular social networking sites. Afterwards, encourage friends to support McHappy Day by visiting www.aboutmcdonalds.com/McHappyDay.

• Download the McHappy Day image to your blog or Web site, which can link back to www.aboutmcdonalds.com/McHappyDay to provide others with McHappy Day information and ways they can support RMHC.

• Download the “Give A Hand for Ronald McDonald House Charities” Facebook application and share virtual Hands online in support of RMHC. In honor of the 35^th anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House, McDonald’s USA will donate $1 per virtual Hand shared online to RMHC, up to 35,000 Hands. Include a link back to www.facebook.com/giveahand to drive awareness of overall campaign.
