I had a WONDERFUL opportunity this week - sampling candy! Who wouldn't love that! =)
Two types of candy arrived on my doorstep: Wonka's Sluggles and Wonka's Puckerooms. Both are gummy type candies.
I have always loved gummy candy - Sour Patch kids, Gummy Bears, Gummy Life Savers, Sour Worms, so these candies were right up my alley! The Sluggles are my favorite. They are a classic sweet gummy candy (like gummy bears) in grape, lemon, orange, and strawberry flavors that are shapped like slugs, bugs, and snails! “The inspiration for GUMMIES came from WONKA’s storied edible garden, where even the slugs and snails are made of candy,” said Tricia Bowles, spokesperson, Nestlé Confections & Snacks.
The Puckerooms are a sour gummy candy shaped like mushrooms that come in cherry, lemon-orange, and grape flavors.
These Wonka gummies hit the store shelves nationwide in June. So, you should be able to pick these up at your local grocery or drugstore or wherever you buy candy! You should be able to score your own bag for about $1.79 for a 6.5-ounce bag.
