Stainless Steal Appliances Price Drop!


Until July 6, 2009, select GE Stainless Steel Kitchen Appliances will be reduced to regular appliance price at participating retailers. Here is a link where you can find a retailer based on your location. (Click "find a retailer" button).

We just finished building our home last November (we've been here a little over a year). We were able to get our stainless appliances on clearance at the local Lowe's and I LOVE them! They are really easy to keep clean (unlike the white fridge I had before). So, if you're in the market for a new appliance this is the time to buy it seems!

To celebrate this limited time offer, GE created a “Strong As Steel” video, which takes a humorous look at the durability of the Stainless Steel Appliances, with the help of some friendly fitness professionals! You can see it HERE

I love walking! That's my "exercise" of choice and playing soccer and sports with the kids. I also enjoy doing weights!

I have 4 kids (3 my own, 1 foster), so the only thing I have time to do is walk, but I throughly enjoy it!

I love to do the DVD Kathy Smith Lift Weights to Lose Weight. The various workouts only take 20 minutes so they fit into my day more easily than most would.

I have 3 kids so I am quite busy all the time. I do lunges down the hall at work (when no one is watching), walk at night time and play soccer and tag with my 2 little ones. Other than that, I drink TONS of water!

I eat a vegan diet. I started it a year ago...and I've lost 40 pounds.
The funny thing is that I eat more now that I did before. I feel great.

I take my 7 month old out for frequent walks through our neighborhood. He enjoys it, and I burn calories. I also still breastfeed, which is a great calorie-burner!

I do Les Mills classes at my local gym 3 times a week. In the first month of doing 2 times a week, I lost inches everywhere. I love these classes. They are joint friendly, work you hard and are fun. I do BodyFlow and Bodypump. Their website is LesMills.com and they have classes all over the country.

We've started walking to restaurants when we go out for dinner - which is a great way to get exercise and spend more quality time together. Also, approaching house cleaning as a full-on workout really helps to get the energy up (and get through the cleaning!). Thanks!

I act like my kids. If we go to a play place I crawl in the tunnels and chase the kids. If we go to the park, I slide down the slide. If the play in the pool I am in there splashing with them! It has worked good for me so far!

I walk to the store across the street (.5 miles away). Instead of jumping in the car, I put my daughter in the stroller and take off. She absolutely enjoys the ride and I enjoy the walk.

I have the best results when I do the old Tae Bo tapes. I just recently started back up and it is incredible how many muscles you don't know about until they are sore the next week.
