9 Comments:
There was a 10 dollar mail in rebate in one of the coupon inserts this week for bayer, alka setlzer and other products. You could combine it with the RR deal and get 10 dollars back from the MIR. Depending on how you do it, you could make money.
I see that you have posted the Demet's Turtles deal but I don't see the turtles advertised in the ad. They are normally $2.49 each, are they on sale again and it isn't posted?
My local Walgreens doesn't seem to know about the coloring book. I've called the 2 around me. Do you know if it happens to be a regional thing? Thanks!
I was able to get two bottles of Children's Motrin for $3.50. I bought two bottles at $5.99 each, used the $2 in ad coupon for $4 off, the $1 coloring book coupon for $2 off and the $2.50/2 manny from Sunday's insert. Sweet deal!
A few additional deals include the following:
Russell Stover Sugar Free Candy B1 @ $2.19 G3 Free using in-ad & MFC Q's
-Russell Stover Sugar Free Candy, 3 oz. bag B2G1F DND exp 5-31-09 (11/2 SS) *
Glade Scented Oil Refills Buy 3 for $7.50, Free After ESR
-$2/2 Scented Oil Refills & B2G1 Free after Q's & ESR
Triaminic is 2/$10 with a $5 RR = FREE after Q's & RR, possibly $$$ maker
-$1.50/1 IP + $1/1 WAGs Activity Book
-FORM Theraflu/Triaminic Money Back Offer (12/17 SS)
*Your best scenario would be to buy 6 of the Russell Stover candies, however the ad appeared to say limit 4. Very rarely do I ever see any limits enforced at WAGs so if you are able to buy 6 it would work out as follows.
Buy 6 @ $2.19 = $13.14
-Less 2 B2G1 Free MFC = $4.38 (possibly more, depends on price they ring up at)
-Less B1G1 free in-ad q = $6.57
Total = $2.19 for 6 bags of candies, averages out to $.37 a piece. Pretty good deal if you have a diabetic in the family!
Wait, I'm confused! How does the Glade Scented Oil Refills deal work that Cent Saving Mom posted? There's a $4 ESR, but you still have to make up the $3.50. Where are the Buy 2 get 1 free and $2/2 coupons? Thanks!
Same question about the DeMet Turtles. I don't see them at my store on sale.
Also, the "coloring book" is actually called an "activity book" I believe. At my store, it was near the toys and things on a little shelf attached to an endcap.
I couldn't find the DeMets Turtles either! BooHoo - maybe this was taken out of the flyer? I was really hoping to get some. mmmmm.... chocolate. =)
As far as the Walgreens coloring book, I don't think it is regional. I also found mine (the last one!) in the toy aisle. There was a little shelf of books and it was mixed in. It has jungle animals on the front and it is smaller than most coloring books.

The "Cent"sible Sawyer
Thanks! I'll take a look in that aisle. And I'll keep my fingers crossed!
