Baby Buzz Blog Update and GiveAway!

This week's Baby Buzz Blog article is all about my nursery!! To read all about how we decided on, bought, and decorated my baby's nursery go check it out HERE.

As most of you long time readers know, I am a teacher. So, I am enjoying a few weeks off. During this time we (my husband and I) have been hard at work putting the nursery together. I have even been slaving my mom over her sewing machine! =)

I have been so excited to share it with you and get your comments. Warning: I am a decorating FREAK. The real trick for me was figuring out how to get the million dollar look I wanted on my frugal budget! =) Because, as you all know - I love to save a buck and to score a good deal.

I'd love to hear what you think... so in order to "bribe" (hehehe) you to go check my article out at the Walmart Baby Buzz Blog I am offering another baby give away!

This giveaway is thanks to Darcy and Jennifer over at Chicks N Chickens!

It is the Chicks N Chickens Lullabye Exercises

This video is such a neat concept! It is an exercise DVD that is meant to help you mommas get into those pre-baby jeans - but at the same time you are rockin' and swayin' with your baby (great bonding) getting that baby off to snooze-ville!

You can do these low impact exercises while holding your baby or while your baby is in a baby carrier. The music is a bluesy-rock soundtrack written and performed by Lisa Phenix.

Here's how the video goes:

First, you warm up with a line dance and then you move on to squats. What baby doesn't love that up and down action! The groove set works the abs standing up! We could all seriously use some ab work! And, last but not least, the sleep set sends your infant to snoozeville. You get a step closer to pre-baby weight and some me time! WooHoo!

So, this New Year, no more excuses! You don't need a gym OR a babysitter! You can meet your fitness goals all while being attentive to that new baby! You can purchase this DVD right HERE for just $14.95

Super cute room!! I love the sitting area and the changing nook. Aren't moms wonderful. They can do so many things. I just had my forth child two weeks ago. My mom helped me too! May God Bless you with your new addition. I love reading your blog. It has been very helpful. Please continue.

I answered two of your questions on your baby blog. I had my best friend who is knowledgeable in all things baby, I don't know what I would have done without her!

The nursery looks so adorable! And I love the name Judah. very nice. You are so far ahead of where I was at your stage of pregnancy. My son didn't have a nursery until he was 5 months old! :)

Your nursery is just beautiful! You did a fabulous job making a lovely room for your little boy. I also re-used the rocker my mother used with all three of us kids. I have now rocked two babies in it! It is a precious keepsake.

To answer a question, no, you don't really need to use the baby laundry detergent. It smells awesome, but is pretty expensive! I have sensitive skin, so have always used All Free and Clear. I just washed our babies clothes in it as well with no problems.

I love how you built the room around pieces and grew it round them instead of trying to get everything at once making the room both cute and unique. Congrats!
