I use my white borads constantly!!! Another teacher gave me the HW store tip on them and I love them. I am going to do the electrical tape on them when I get back on Tuesday. The different shape card idea is great...I am going to go to the dollar store tomorrow to get some! Thanks and I look forward to more videos!!!

Very nice job on your video! I never imagined you with such a strong southern accent...I wish I was southern, lol, I'm jealous! ;)

I just found your blog and I really like it! Thanks for all the tips. I used to teach special ed and we had a classroom set of those hardware store whiteboards only I never thought of the electrical tape. I'd put math problems up on the projector and then the kids would hold up their answers. It was a fast way to scan the room and see who did and did not understand how to do the problem.

Love love love the wipe board idea. My daughter, a first grader, was just asking for a wipe board today. One of my first projects when the kiddos go back to school is going to be to head out to the hardware store and pick up the supplies to make one of these for each of my kids! Thanks a ton!!!

Yay, Denise! Your first video is a hit. I am sending it to my mom, also a teacher.

LOVE your accent, and can't wait to finally meet you!

At a recent Kindergarten round up my child's teacher told me they were going to use SILO paper plates as dry erase boards. How exciting!! The ones that are meant to be the stacker ones that make the lid or bottom are supposed to be the best. Hoping to try these on my preschoolers soon...

Denise - great ideas! Your calling is definitely teaching! I will be trying these with my 4-year old to reinforce what he's learned in pre-school and make it fun for him at home! I love your accent too and the new profile pic is beautiful! You are glowing :-)
