Give It Away, Give It Away, Give It Away Now!

I am so excited that I get to offer you another GIVE-AWAY!!
I hope I can continue to bring you these fabulous prizes!!

This week's Giveaway is a HIP-T

What it is:

The hip-T is the creation of two women who decided that they’d had enough of layering t-shirts over low-rise jeans in order to ‘cover their assets’. Tired of bulky layers, they came up with the idea to only cover the area necessary to hide what should be hidden, and leave out the rest of the material that creates all of the excess bulk.

In short - the hip-T, “adds a layer without all of the layering.”
They come in a variety of colors, styles and sizes (from XXS all the way up to 3XL).

So Here's My Take on the Hip-T

I love low rise jeans! However I have run into the problem of shirts being too short or shrinking a bit after a few washes. I don't like to have my back (or worse!) showing and often tuck in just the back of my shirt when I sit down just to make sure no one is getting a view they don't want to see!

I had the opportunity to try the Hip-T out and I think they are pretty darn cool! The ladies at Hip-T were so awesome they sent me the one with lace on the bottom (looks just like some of the tank-tops I had been layering) and a really cool zebra printed one!

I like to layer tanks under t-shirts (the ones that seem to shrink) because I like the way it looks plus since I am a teacher (off for the summer - yeah!!) I have to be mindful about the length of my shirts when I am at the board or crawling around on the floor with the kids!

The Hip-T didn't seem to bunch around my waist and was really comfortable and definitely a lot cooler than having a whole extra layer - especially in Georgia in the summer months!! Whew! No more laying tanks and shirts!

So What Do I Think?

The hip-T is a great alternative to the bulky layering of multiple t-shirts/tanktops for anyone who’s worried about showing off just a little too much. Or if you just like the layered look without all of the bulk. It’s a great addition to anyone’s wardrobe

Whether you spend your day at a desk in school, the office, or simply find yourself bending to tie a youngster’s shoe a dozen times a day, you deserve a protected rear view!

Where Can You Score One Of These Nifty Hip-T's?

You can order hip-T’s from their website, at http://www.myhip-t.com/shop.htm. They are regularly $19.95 each - but right now select colors are 20% off, so you can get one for only $15.95!

Wanna Win One?

The Generous Ladies at Hip-T are going to send one lucky winner a FREE Hip-T!! Here's what you need to do to be entered:

Go visit the Hip-T website HERE
Come back to this post and leave me a comment telling me your favorite color and/or style! You can also leave a reason why you think you could use one of these!

I will announce the winner Thursday using Random.org and if they don't respond by Friday morning I will pick a new winner!

Hi Denise!
Those are so neat! The olive basic hip-t is my favorite!!!
I am a sucker for low rise jeans too, but I get so irritated when my shirts ride up a little much! I just had a baby, so while I work on getting my "pre-baby" body back...the shirt riding up happens more than I'd like. These would be PERFECT!
Thanks for featuring these on your blog! Keep up the good work!

What an awesome Idea!! I'm actually jealous I didn't come up with it first:)
I would wear the white lace one all the TIME!

I really like the Dark Fuchsia and White Color Basic hit-T. I could probably use it too seeing as I love my low rise jeans but my mom (and I'm sure others in public) don't usually want to see my tattoo....which will often happen if I had to bend down for anything..sometimes even just when I am sitting! Thanks!

These are killer Denise!!!

For people with freakishly long torso's like mine, cute little t- shirts NEVA fit lengthwise, or fit for long... These would extend the life of shirts that accidentally get dried!

The practical side of me likes the black and white. The wilder yet still practical side likes the zebra!

Anonymous said...

I would use either the black, cream, or white originals because they would go with most everything and get my money's worth! What an awesome idea! I hate having 2 layers on and this helps!

Brandy said...

My favorite one would be the cream, without the lace. I wear a lot of browns and pinks, and this color would go well with pretty much everything I have.
I could really use these because I love low rise jeans, however when your bootie is a little on the large side, jeans tend to gap in the back. This would cover that problem.

Anonymous said...

I would totally go with the black or white because they go with everything! Great idea, i dont like everyone to see my behind smiling! :)

mamabyrd2 said...

I love these. You look so cute in the zebra print, that I would have to say that is the one I want! These would be great for wearing with low rise jeans for those of us who have the little pooch on our bellies!! Thanks! Hope I win!!!

What a great idea.

I really like the lace ones - especially black!

What a chic and practical idea. I live in hot-lanta, too, and cannot layer in the summer. As I am just a smidge shy of 6 feet, I have a lot of trouble finding tees which are long enough, or shrink up after the wash. I like the black one with lace. (Black is slimming!)

I have been layering for years and always thought someone needed to do something like this so it doesn't bulk at the top. Geessshhh I need to speak up about my ideas because they happen later. HA HA!

I like the BLACK LACE HIPSTER!

Sara said...

A black one would match most of my clothes. I am short-waisted but somehow still have a long torso, and all my shirts shrink length-wise in the wash!

mommagurl32 said...

Ok so I live in the deep south and I wear either a black or white tank every day...this would be a lovely alternative!

I really like the white lace Hip-T. I have a long torso, so shirts are ALWAYS too short. I'd love a Hip-T to keep my assets covered!

Lisa said...

These are great! White. I get tired of layering tanks and then they get too stretched out or don't stay, and how hot they get.

Anonymous said...

I like the white with lace too, but the zebra is great as well. They remind me of the belly band I wore all through and after my pregnancies, so I KNOW I'd use them!

Missy said...

I love them all! They are such a great idea. The charcoal gray, black, or white lace are my favorite. You look super cute in yours!

I love the zebra one but I don't think I could pull it off.... so black with lace is going to have to be my vote

Samantha said...

I love the white lace or the heather gray. I hate wearing t-shirts that only go to the waistband of my jeans and show everything when I sit or reach up! I have a new baby and things just don't fit the way they used to!

Wow! Those look FABULOUS on you, Denise! I am in love with the idea of this. I love low-rise jeans and I'm always so paranoid and self conscious that my behind will make an appearance when I bend over or sit down. I really like the white lace and black lace ones! Heck I'd love to get one in every color! haha :)

the white lace would go under everything i own. I hate low rise pants but unfortunately, it is hard to find any that fit high up anymore(even for us plus size girls). I love the idea of these, anything that I can get to fit over my chest, doesn't fit tight enough around my waist/hips to cover the low rise.

The black or white lace ones are fantastic! When I don't win, I think I might use $ from my birthday next week to buy my own. I'm always buying cheap, thin tanks to wear under shirts to try to cover this problem. Thanks!

What a great idea!! I love it. I love the black with lace one.

Sarah @ Fiddledeedee said...

I saw these somewhere and have wanted one ever since! The cream one would be perfect for fall. These would be really handy to wear on shopping days, as getting little ones in and out of buggies can create issues!

Great giveaway, Denise!

Anonymous said...

I love the idea of the hip-T. I just had a baby 2 weeks ago and could use the extra long length of an under shirt but practically trying to nurse a baby and have 2 shirts doesn't work all that well. Also living in Tx where it hit 106 degrees yesterday the thought of wearing 2 layers just makes me sweat.

My favorites are the plain white, heather gray or white lace....I need something that goes with everything at this busy few months of my life.

I think the white with lace is my favorite. I had something similar when I was pregnant and loved it for under-the-belly maternity pants and those last few weeks when none of my shirts was long enough anymore; but, now that baby is here, it no longer fits. One of these would be great as a nursing mom to help keep me covered when I'm nursing in public (between low rise pants and a lifted shirt, a lot can show. even with a nursing cover).

Thanks for a chance to win!

I like the white lace the very best, but I think I need one of every color.

Why do I need one? Because I just had a baby and am still in the maternity jean mode...I can't wear the monster maternity shirts anymore though, so my shirts always show the stupid stretchy panel. El Lamo!

hayley said...

i like the plain white one. i always shrink my shirts and hate when my belly fat sticks out.

I like the white lace one. I too just had a baby and am getting so frustrated that I'm still not able to fit in my pre-baby clothes because all my shirts seem to be too short! sassy stephanie said...

Ooooo. I love these. I am a total blue jean addict. I wear them in the winter as well as the heat of the summer. So much so that it is the only thing I will spend *real* amounts of money to buy. My husband was ready to commit me when I was pregnant, wearing high end maternity jeans. I have about 21 pair of jeans, several of which are "standing room only"! This would save me the embarrassment and allow me to sit down one in awhile!!

*SASSY* Stephanie loves the zebra!!!

Rebekah said...

I want the black lace one! what a fantastic idea! I layer almost every day and love the look of the lace! Thanks for the tip!

Anonymous said...

I love the black with lace one- I have the longest torso ever and have yet to find a black cami that I can layer underneath my shirts. I always have to line dry so things don't shrink too short- and still my shirts aren't long enough!

Becky said...

Hey Denise! Cool give-away!
I love the white lace one! Something basic that would go with most anything!
I've recently lost all baby weight and am back to my before-kid-one weight ... but my hips didn't go back for some odd reason, lol. Anyways, what fits through the hips leaves gaps at the waist making for invariable peep shows :) This would fix that real quick like.

Hi Denise,
I'm new to this new couponing thing. Rebekah actually told me about your site. I love it. Its very helpful. Well while i was on your blog noticed the Hip-T so I'm emailing because I'm in desperate need of this. A little bit about me, I'm a mother of 2 boys. I've been married for 8 wonderful years. I'm constantly embarrassing him and my children because when I bend over my crack shows:) It something that I have struggled with as I have always been more of a stronger women, or tomboy if you will. I find it difficult to pay attention to how my backside might be exposed. If I drop something or there's something on the ground I bend without thinking (it also doesn't help when you have no butt to keep the pants up). Having the Hip-T would save my family from embarrassment and would save me from shame. So I think that i need to win this, not just for my family and I but also for the poor Innocent bi standards. If you do choose me you would be helping a lot of people:)

Thanks,
Shannon

P.S. color zebra (if chosen)

What a fantastic idea!! I buy my shirts long on purpose, but a couple of accidental tosses in the dryer later, they end up being shorter then I would like! This would be the perfect solution for me! I like the basic hip t in black or white. Thanks! Emily :)

I like the fuschia. It sure would be fun to have a new shirt to wear as soon as my pregnant belly is not preggo anymore! Baby #5 is due in September, and it would be a real celebration to come home in style!!

I am in love with that zebra print. But for all purpose favorite, I pick black with lace. Ooh la la!

How awesome for a nursing Mamma! This would definitely help hide that lower part of my back that I often feel very uncomfortable showing off while nursing.

I like the white with or without lace! Thanks for the opportunity!

I am completely loving this !! I really loved olive green and Charcoal gray!! These are perfect for summers with no extra layers.

Hi Denise,
Thank you for another great giveaway. I am in LOVE. This is exactly what I need. I love the layering but hate the bulk. But I Love my low rise jeans. I have 2 children so I am always picking someone up. These would be perfect. Great Tees are hard to find!! I love the aqua or the basic white with the lace. You looked so adorable in them.

I LOVE this idea and have struggled just like you have with short shirts, being afraid of what I might show. I'm also an elementary school teacher AND I have a long torso. Finding a long enough shirt has always been a problem and I love the idea of layered shirts but also hate the bulk. This is the perfect solution! I love the white lace. Thanks!

Those are sooo cool!! I would pick the basic in brown or olive green. These would be perfect for me because shirts are never long enough for me as I am 5'10'' and nursing (so I have even less room in my shirt for length)
Got my fingers crossed!

I like the white lace one...I usually wear a white, lace-bottomed tank top under my shirts. Thanks for doing this, I enjoy checking out your blog a couple of times a day.

I like the black hip T with lace. I really need this because I constantly fight my shirt riding up with my low waist jeans. It's only compounded by the fact that I have a little extra peek a boo room in my waist thanks to child bearing hips and my teenage waist (my only momento from my teenage yrs LOL)which make for a tricky combo.

Hooray! I know that there are so many people who will find this product useful. The Hip-T people are bound to make a mint. Way to go!

My favorite one is the black lace. It goes with everything and the lace is flirty and feminine.

i'd like to win the white for my dd! sometimes she needs one of these and i'd be happier if she had one :)

Denise! Those are the coolest things I have seen in a while. After 3 c-sections and this new wave of low-rise everything...this is a perfect solution. If I had all th money in the world, If I were a rich girl....I would buy one of every color! I really like the zebra print one as well!

I love any of the lace Hip-T's. Anything to make layering less bulkey is awesome.

White with lace. While I dont layer cause I'm too fat, my teen daughter always does. What a great idea and a great gift for her. Whether I win or not, she's getting one of these.

Denise! I have never seen such a thing, but I would agree with you - they look great. I am tall (5'8) and I am constantly dealing with the issues of not being long enough in the torso. I also tuck in the shirt so as not to expose tooooo much. :) I would love to try this item in the baby pink color.

Thanks for the offer.

Wow these are great!! How awesome would these be ladies when we are shopping and scoring great deals! No more having to worry about my backside when I'm bending down to get those items on the bottom shelf!! Thanks Denise for the link! Love the brown basic and white lace!!

These are great! I wear laced tanks under my shirts now but hate how you can see the outline of them through the top layer, and the bunching is SO annoying! I like the black hip-t with lace. Thanks so much for featuring these shirts!

I love the black, you can never go wrong!

Kind of like baby bands for non-pregnant people! I need it because I don't like to show my gut and its hard to find shirts to cover! I love the zebra print!!!

I just bought a tank like this at Deb but have to return it because it's too tight. I've been looking for something that fits as perfect as this for EVER!!! Plain white lace is what I'd like, they are so pretty!!!

This is such a great idea. I am uncomfortable in anything but low-rise jeans but oh, those shrinking shirts! White lace seems to be a popular choice. My fave too.

Karen said...

Hands down I love the white lace one!! It will match everything and the lace makes it PRETTY!! I love to layer but we've just moved to TX and the heat and humidity here is killing me...there's no way I can stand several layers...this would be a perfect solution!!

Man, this is the best idea ever, especially for ladies like me with(how do i say this nicely???) well-endowed backsides!!! Hehe...sorry had to say it! Because of that and the fact that I have a long torso, I have the worst problem with the "gap" in the back of my jeans and can never find shirts that are long enough! I wear two layers almost every day due to this problem. I would LOVE to win one of these, so I can show my hubby how much I need them. Thanks for doing this, Denise! By the way, love the pics of you wearing the Hip-T's. You are too cute! Oh, and I really like the black lace one.

I love the idea! Perfect! I like the Charcoal grey basic. It would go with everything.

Amanda said...

I want the pink one with no lace.

Why do I need one?
Imagine being in the grocery store and the baby drops his toy. I reach down to pick it up and the four year old yells, "MOMMY, I CAN SEE YOUR BOTTOM!"

Yeah, you need to pick me.

misspooh8 said...

What a great invention. I like the black one with lace. I would use this to help cover my back for the same reaons you stated. I am a mom now, no one needs to be seeing my back or worse when I lean down to play with or pick up my son.

Anonymous said...

I love the white one. I am a mommy so i definatley don't need anyone seeing my muffin top or rear end. :) What an awesome idea!

Anonymous said...

I love the white basic one and lace one. What a great idea!

I love them! I am a teacher also and am always looking for a shirt that is long enough to cover the back. The olive and brown are my favorites.

While it may seem a bit boring, I think I would wear the white lace one the most! That or a black lace. I love the layered look, but also hate having to nurse with many layers, so this would be wonderful! Thanks for hosting a giveaway!

I definitely would wear the white with lace trim the most. After nursing my baby for a year my chest grew and my shirts shrunk! Layering is still a must! This will make it easier when I have another baby.

The white basic hip tee would be great! I need help since all of my clothes are too small since having a baby 4 months ago!

What a great idea! I am always worried about my back and my unmentionables showing when I sit down with jeans on. I like the pink hip T with lace.
