Have you been reading my posts about going organic? Well, we're baby steppin' our way into a new life style. Isn't it funny how having a child makes want to eat better, feed your family better, and be better to your environment? Well, I have to be honest and say it is 'almost' totally new to me.
If you've been following this blog you already now that I am learning (little by little) about organics, natural, and whole foods. I've made the decision to support local farmers when I can and help my family in the process. In addition, we're trying to remember to bring our own bags to the grocery store and to do our part recycling. Even though these are small steps, every little bit helps.
Marcal Small Steps is a line of 100% percent recycled paper products which include toilet paper, towels, napkins and facial tissue that are produced by Marcal Manufacturing, LLC. Marcal has been making paper products from paper not from trees since 1950. The name Small Steps was carefully chosen as there are so many busy people who want to do the right thing for the planet and future of their children but often feel overwhelmed about how to start, or fear going green means some sort of sacrifice – either lifestyle or performance or money. Small Steps shows how our small actions can aggregate to making a big difference. For instance, if every household in the US were to buy a roll of Small Steps, together we could save one million trees!
I recently had the opportunity to try Marcal's Small Steps toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins, and tissues for free in order to review them her on this blog! I loved the paper towels and the napkins. They were just as good as any other brand I've bought - perfectly strong and plush. The tissue was pretty good too. I have to admit that I am a snob when it comes to toilet paper as is my husband. We like the quilted stuff. We weren't too impressed with the toilet paper. If you aren't as persnickety about your toilet tissue you might want to give the Small Steps line a try. It is very reasonable in price and comes in single rolls and multipacks. And, right now there are a ton of coupons out for a FREE single roll!
So, if you're not quite ready to give up all your paper towels, or napkins or maybe you're just looking to buy recycled paper products like toilet paper or tissues this give away is for you!
One lucky reader is going to win a TON of Marcal Small Steps products!
